A couple of suggestions/comments for this since it seems he is a member of the tech community and perhaps these can be relayed to the founder of the company:
1. This costs 3-4x of comparable devices.
2. Granted that the Jadoo box gives channels that the apple/google tvs don’t. But if the company is going to charge 3-4x, then it should advertise and COMMIT to what type of services it will offer on its website (look at tv-desi.com). Either for some reason withholding because it does not have any long-term arrangements with the content providers or forgot to put it there. Either way its amateurish: just because we are a desi audience doesn’t mean we don’t need the same disclosure as what other providers give.

3. Either the company chooses to not market and limit itself to random 1-2 line testimonials or does not know how to. Do a search on Jadoo tv reviews and one of the first link that appears has claims that is streaming content without agreement and illegal (http://www.paklinks.com/gs/showbiz-pakistan/381646-jadoo-tv-anyone.html)
With this sort of negative (and likely false) community commentary, a high price point without any committed media content means this company has to get beyond the elegance of its bits and bytes of its software and focus on customer perception.

Thanks for posting this and the other write-up.My wife is looking at different options and I found out about Jadoo. If you do a review on it, the top 2-3 links on the net don’t do the Jadoo offering any justice: they make claims like its illegal and broadcast free content etc etc. I am hoping this link starts coming first.
